“My beautiful wife Jazz, thank you for sharing your life with me and giving me two amazing kids,” the 41-year-old actor said.

As the camera panned to his 35-year-old wife, she could be seen mouthing the words, “I love you.”

“Kinsey Sioux and Wilder Wolf, I love you so many and so much,” Culkin continued, naming their two children.

“And Jazz — I want more,” he added as the audience burst into laughter.

“You said, you said maybe if I win!

In winning, Culkin beat out Succession co-stars Jeremy Strong and Brian Cox, as well as Pedro Pascal for The Last of Us, Bob Odenkirk for Better Call Saul and Jeff Bridges for The Old Man.

The actor, who married Charton in 2013, opened up to director Taika Waititi in a 2013 chat for Interview about how important his children were to him.

“I have a 1-and-a-half-year-old and a 3-and-a-half-year-old, and we’re going to be bouncing around Poland,” he said, referring to a project he was working on.

“I don’t like being away from them for more than two days at a time.

“I do need to be home because if I go for a week, they change.”

The Emmy Awards proved to be a big night for Succession, with Australian actress Sarah Snook named Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama and Matthew Macfadyen taking out Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama.

In total, the acclaimed HBO series won six of the 27 categories it was nominated for, including the award for Outstanding Drama Series.

Snook also made mention of children in her acceptance speech.

“Thanks to everyone who voted and for loving the show as much as we did making it,” she began.

“We put our all into it.

“Thank you to my mum and dad for having a dress-up box when I was a kid, because this is what it gets you.”

Snook then referred to her baby girl, with whom she was pregnant during filming of the show’s final season.

“My biggest thank you goes to somebody who won’t understand anything I’m saying right now,” she said.

“Someone I carried through the last season but really it was she who carried me.

“It’s easy to act when you’re pregnant because you have hormones raging.

“It was more that the proximity of her life growing inside me gave me the strength to do this and this performance, and I love you so much.

Snook and her partner Dave Lawson welcomed their baby girl in May last year, a day after the final episode aired.

“It’s hard to express what this show has meant to me,” she wrote on Instagram, announcing the news.

“The places I got to go, the immense talent I got to work with … it breaks my heart that it is all over.

“I just watched the final episode of the final season of something that has changed my life.

“And now, my life has changed again.

“Thank you for all the love and support.”
