Sunrise favourite Sam Mac has announced he popped the question to partner Rebecca James.
The weatherman shared the good news on Instagram on Saturday night alongside a photo of James flashing her engagement ring.
“Ladies and gentlemen, my fiancé! She said yes,” he wrote.

“My secret 2023 New Year’s resolution was to propose to my darling Rebecca sometime this year. So I guess this is what you’d call a buzzer beater.
“She’s calm, strong and unintentionally funny. She’s super smart and a genuine knockout beauty.
“She makes me a better man.”
Mac and James welcomed baby Margot last September, with the popular presenter earlier taking a month off for paternity leave.
“It’s my turn to be getting Margot up, feed her and basically becoming her personal assistant/servant,” he joked to 7Life.
“Margot’s changed so much, even in the past couple of months, so it’s super exciting to have some proper quality time with her.”
